
Lead generation is the process of identifying potential customers and qualifying them in some manner.
The goal is to turn some percentage of these leads into customers. That is the most important goal of lead generation – customer acquisition.
There are a wide variety of ways to generate leads of potential customers. Here are some common methods:

Infomercials
Webinars
Trade Shows
Email Marketing
Contests
Promotions
