Even worthy causes.
Read this...its about a couple of twenty-somethings that saw an
unfolding tragedy in Africa, formed their own cause here in the U.S., and are now "marketing" it to an unlikely group of "customers", who are getting the message and buying this "product".
Notice what they didn't do to "sell" their product: No expensive ads, no brochures, no mailing lists. They have something better than all of that: An authentic story.

You make a great point, Dan. Every organization needs to figure out how to acquire new customers. This organization has done a brilliant job of telling a story and letting people raise their hand and become part of the movement.
