
That's the objective of every direct mail marketer.
I have to admit, if this is a new tactic in direct mail marketing, I'd bite...I would have opened this envelope. Great post from Jim Logan, and comment from Seth Godin.
At the very least, its a wonderful lesson in creative approaches to getting a prospect to become a sales lead. At the worst, its sloppy mail management. Good lessons either way for those of you who are searching for sales leads via mail.
