Today is a day of large, planned pro-immigration protests around the country. Politically, there are potentially millions of new votes up for grabs (assuming the 11 million or so illegal immigrants are granted citizenship in some way, shape or form).
From a sales standpoint, political parties have to look at those as "sales leads". No matter which side of the issue you side with, the potential for a "sale" in the form of aligning a new voter with your party is potentially huge.
One political party is hard at work trying to capitalize on those 11 million or so sales leads. One party isn't. And if that party that isn't trying to capitalize on the new sales leads - or find a way to take the value out of those sales leads - they will see their market share decline.
Every sales lead counts, no matter what your business is. The more creative you get in converting those leads, the better you'll perform. The business of politics is no different.
