It's amazing how quickly businesses need to adapt to new technology. It's mind boggling, really.
The smart businesses that do, prosper. Those that don't are destined to struggle just to keep their head above water, or are forced to spend double (or triple) on old style marketing in an effort keep up with the first group I described above.
Seth Godin talks today about his concept of "flipping the funnel" in business marketing. Along with that, he asks seven questions that you need to ask yourself if you're selling or marketing something - especially if you're doing it on the Internet.
I think these seven questions, posed by Godin, are key to succeeding in the Web 2.0 world. Your customers are getting smarter, and the traditional ways of getting your word out are working less and less. The same stupid TV ads won't cut it anymore...better get smart and be savy as you hunt for new sales leads.
