The conversation of the benefits of odd numbered selling (and why it works) continues full steam ahead. The latest sales expert to weigh-in to the debate is Clayton Shold from Salesopedia:
1) Humans like to view asymmetrical objects
2) Bouquets of balloons are always in 3's, 5's, or 7's
2) Floral arrangements typically display an odd number of flowers.
Perhaps this is the subliminal reason for odd numbered lists.
Clayton makes my point in this whole discussion: There are psychological reasons that this works, and they need to be used to your advantage as a marketer interested in generating sales leads for your company.
It's a fascinating discussion, and I appreciate Clayton's take on the whole thing. Check out his blog when you get the chance...it's a good resource for sales professionals and people seeking more sales leads.
***Note: Did you notice Clayton had the number "2" listed twice in his list? There's a Freudian slip in there somewhere...

You caught me on the typo, a simple case of one too many twos when a three it should be. That's it ... Freud made me do it.
Thanks for the Salesopedia plug.
